We are seeking multiple full-time Assembly Technicians in our Production Department
Responsibilities Include:
- Ability to perform packaging of customer products

- Complete attention to detail working in a clean environment
- Maintain work flow in a timely manner and perform quality tests as required
- Must be able to read, write and speak English

- Must be able to lift and move 40 pounds, if required

Engineering Technician II
Basic Function:
Under minimal supervision, performs routine sterilizer maintenance, including but not limited to: preventive maintenance, overhaul, electromechanical troubleshooting, component/sub-assembly rebuild or refurbishment. Additionally designs and performs unique experiments as requested, evaluates and confirms test data accuracy and generates formal verbal and/or written reports on the finding to appropriate personnel.
Responsibilities:
1. Designs, sets up and performs routine to complex experiments of a moderate to broad scope which comply with FDA requirements and appropriate engineering standards (IEC60601, ASTM and ISTA).
2. Extract and processes test data/finding into both formal written and verbal reports which comply with FDA requirements and appropriate engineering standards.
3. Complies with documentation procedures.
4. Coordinates with peers to ensure appropriate tests, equipment and results are obtained.
5. Submits periodic reports on assigned topics to appropriate personnel.
6. Mechanically competent with vacuum systems, sensors, pneumatic actuators and related controls.
7. Coordinates with design engineer to generate electronic FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Analysis) and prepare formal test reports.
8. May build new product prototypes.
9. May perform inventory activities related to sterilizer components.
10. Operates and maintains test lab equipment.
Requirements
Physical Requirements:
- Light work, exerting up to 20 pounds of force.
- Must be able to review printed materials.
Mental Requirements:
- Must be able to resolve complex testing and/or equipment issues using independent judgement.
- Must be able to exhibit logical cascade troubleshooting / fault-tree analysis of systemic failure (with training).
- Must be able to follow and explain detailed instruction and inspection procedures.
- Must be able to complete detailed documentation accurately.
Skills Required:
- Intermediate math and technical writing skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
Experience Required:
- 2-4 years related technical experience or certificate from technical school.
- Experience with interpreting ISO, ISTA, ASTM and various other applicable standards.
- Comprehensive knowledge of written procedures (English required).
- Experience with PCB troubleshooting and use of DVM and other troubleshooting equipment.
Education/Training Required:
- Certificate from a technical school with an emphasis in electronics, mechanical design, or related curriculum (preferred).
- Working toward an electro/mechanical A.S. or B.S. degree (preferred).
